They vary on week days (often closed Wednesday and sometimes Monday or Tuesday). Weekends are busy days, so they are almost all ways open Saturday and Sunday. Their usual hours are 630 am ish to 2pm ish. No website... And how do I know all this? I vacation there at least twice a year.
Annie's grand daughter
The Food is Great there at Annie's Cafe. No Bakery inside there.
They should be Mary.
This place is the definition of out there. It's way out of the way, it feels old fashioned, and there ain't a whole lot besides this. The waitresses were nice and prompt, the food came fast and we could see the cooks cooking our food behind the counter. The breakfast was very good, down home, like grandma made, full of flavor and fried just the way you want it.The place was open, with an indoors and outdoors section, the outdoors section offering a view of the water. Inside was airy, there wasn't air conditioning but it was pleasent enough in the middle of summer at breakfast time with a fan blowing over the main bar.It honestly felt like I had went back in time, it was good food, good people and a great atmosphere. Annie's is the place to eat breakfast in Cedar Key!
THE FOOD: Really good! Just what a doctor would order if the doctor told you to eat breakfast. THE STAFF:Very nice. Attended to our needs quickly and efficiently. THE AMBIANCE:Really awesome. Loads of art on the walls (which much is for sale). Nice outdoor seating, nice indoor seating. THE PARKING:TERRIBLE.
Excellent Rustic Cafe! This is one of the few restaurants, which are open for breakfast (and other meals too). We kind of stumbled across it. The signs are pointed toward town. They have a wide selection of items, and a are excellently prepared. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a must stop, when visiting.
Good food .Good price. Friendly folks. Good bloody Mary.
Parking is at a premium! But that tells you the food and service is outstanding. When the locals eat there you know it is good!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere.
Tasty classic breakfast, delivered quickly and enjoyed on the patio. Hard to beat grits smothered in butter.
I liked it. Took a while for them to get to our table. Once they did it was excellent!
Do you want to enjoy the absolute best breakfast or lunch in Cedar Key? If so, Annie’s is the place you should try. This was our fourth year to visit the island and Annie’s is our go to restaurant. This year we ate lunch here six times over our three week stay and five of those times I had soft shell crab sandwiches. They are the bomb. They also make the best homemade soups such as their chicken vegetable soup. Best yet is their service. Everyone is friendly and they appreciate your business. I recommend that you sit at the long table and talk to all the other customers that are sitting there as well. You can also bring your dog with you and have your food on the covered patio. We look forward to our next trip to Cedar Key and I can assure you that we’ll be eating at Annie’s.
Fantastic place to have breakfast or lunch. Always a winner
Absolutely love this wonderful and quirky cafe! The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious! Prices are great too! Reminds me of Old Florida of the 1960’s! Great family restaurant!
The food was great. The wait time was wonderful. The staff was also wonderful. My wife and I will be coming here every time we are in Ceder Key.
My husband and I tried to have breakfast there. It was a little busy. but not overly busy but right when we entered there was no one to greet us. Eventually some lady yelled across the room to seat ourselves. We eventually found an empty table that wasn't dirty. A woman came by and tossed menus and silverware down.😳Rude! Eventually took our drink order, we both wanted coffee and water. She brought one coffee and one water. We told her again the correct order. No apology and she still never brought the other drinks. She finally took our food order, and again, I asked for the coffee. Waited 20 mins, never came by with the missing drinks...finally we just decided to leave. We left $ for my husbands coffee and walked out. I cant believe this place has such high ratings. There was no management presence and it is run so poorly with rude staff. I feel sorry for the owner, who must not be aware or just doesn't care that the restaurant is in chaos. Sad, because it could be a nice place.
Ok. This place like most of cedar key is unique. We showed up first around 9:30 pm to learn that it's a bar at that time of night. Everyone was very friendly and invited us back for breakfast the next day. The food was fantastic, best veggie omelette I've ever had. Service was not fast, but it's a laid back place. Must stop if in town
Fantastic little local nook
Great hometown cafe.
Great breakfast, a bit slow, but good food
Southern hospitality may have died on their doorstep. The staff seems to feel they are doing everyone a favor by exchanging money for service. The eggs, grits, & hash browns were cooked correctly and on the table within minutes after ordering.
I had breakfast here on my last visit to Cedar Key. I like the look of this place inside and outside. I had the sausage biscuit. It was the best biscuit that I have ever had.
Awesome old Florida eatery. Family atmosphere.
Fantastic breakfast and lunch made by the owner, Geraldine, from local fresh produce and seafood. Homemade key lime pie and refreshing cocktails with a view off the porch of the egrets and spoonbills playing in the water.
The food at Annie's Cafe was great. I had a chef's salad that was yum with plenty of ingredients. My better half ate a chicken sandwich that she said was the best she's had in a year.We were surprised that this place does not have air conditioning, but they had plenty of fans and we didn't get uncomfortable.I'd eat here again.
Simple, yet captivating, locally owned, everyone is friendly. Good menu. They even waited waited when we ordered breakfast during lunch..
In one word. Great! The place was nice, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The fried mullet with sides of grits and fried okra were exactly what I was hoping for. Very good food done right. Looking forward to my next visit to Ceder Key. Good food and good people.
Great food. Excellent service.
Awesome food, busy place and still was served quickly. Definitely the local favorite
Had breakfast here. It was quick and tasty.
Awesome breakfast. Servers are so friendly and gave great tios on what to do and see in the area.
Very good service, delicious food!
Good, local cuisine. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of menu choices and friendly staff.
Wow. Blown away by the flavor they were able to put into a classic meal like eggs and bacon. Great coffee to wash it all down, many people here are pirates and get mimosas before 10am. Gotta love it.
Very nice, cozy place. Will go again.
Amazing breakfast! Blackened grouper, grits, fresh tomatoes, rye toast, good coffee. One suggestion- ditch the margarine and go with REAL butter :) I know, seems to be a southern thing.
Annie's Cafe is a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch closing after lunch. The food is excellent and home made. It's a locals favorite for a reason!
This is a great little hidden jewel !!Annie's is nice, clean, and really laid back. The staff is friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and served us delicious coastal dishes done right. Great food and great people. We'll certainly be back next time we're in Cedar Key !!
Best hash browns ever! Fabulous Friendly service, too!
Breakfast was great had the old time feel to it staff was very nice
Great food and service. We had lunch one day and breakfast the next. Staff was super friendly, attentive, and food well prepared. Slow cooked grits were fantastic as well as the shrimp sandwich. My recommendation as the best place to eat on Cedar Key.
A gem! Laid back atmosphere! Great service. Not a lot of options for vegetarians but the cook went out if the way to make me a grilled cheese, tomato with camelized onions. The best I ever had!
Charming local and friendly. Excellent service. Split fried shrimp dinner (including 2 sides) with my wife ($15.99; 14 shrimp).
The food is great. I don't really eat a lot of sea food so of course I had an omelette for breakfast. Even came back for lunch got the large cheeseburger 8 oz. Unbelievably good. Great people great service. Very friendly. Nice place to sit out on a screened in deck, or sit out on the outside deck looking over the water.
Cute little café, great stop on the island. We had the grilled grouper fish sandwich and stick to your ribs- grits. Flaky fish that was excellently prepared and great price for a lunch! Perfect!
Old fashion style dining, one LONG Main table, and a few smaller tables. Down home Grub!
Food ,and service was great, very friendly staff.
Best little restaurant on Cedar Key! Our server at "The Big Deck Raw Bar" recommended it, and boy was she right! Food was great price was fantastic!
Charming little eatery, food good, priced a little high but that's tourist pricing.
Great informal place. Had breakfast, wasn't disappointed. Friendly service and some tasty omelettes. Can definitely recommend.
Awesome place on the bayou with the best burger and drinks I've had in a long time. Friendly staff, fair prices, great views, dog friendly.

Coffee place and they don't serve different kind of coffee? Just regular and there was none at the moment, they have to make it. Attention was ok.
